Shorelines & Solidarity: Lamu County Beach Cleanup

In February 2025, party volunteers descended on Lamu’s pristine coastline for a high-impact beach cleanup in partnership with local environmental groups. Armed with gloves and garbage sacks, members combed several kilometers of beach, removing plastic waste, discarded nets, and other debris that threaten marine life and local livelihoods. The event not only restored beauty to a beloved shoreline but also showcased our commitment to environmental stewardship and community service.

Over two days of focused workshops and break-out groups, leaders mapped out key community engagement initiatives, refined our messaging, and set ambitious targets to deepen our presence in every ward. This meeting laid the groundwork for a unified, data-driven campaign that will carry us to victory.
